I arrived at The Normans on the morning of Kat and Dan’s wedding, walked in the open front door of the cottage to find breakfast in full swing. Cheerfully introduced myself with the usual smile and explanatory wave of my camera. Was met with stunned silence. Wrong house entirely. Oops!Having found the right cottage I found Kat and her bridal squad having a brilliant time, I love that bridal prep at The Normans is right next door to the ceremony room, makes for a very relaxed morning for everyone. And the ceremony room, wow, what a perfect spot!

Spent a great weekend in London, got to hang out with a load of photographer friends, saw the Radical Eye exhibition at Tate Modern, and met up with Leigh and Emmerson ahead of their wedding, for a wander round the south bank and a beer or three.
After a few month of chatting to these guys as they travelled around South America it was great to have them back in the country and finally meet up on a delightfully ‘Yorkshire’ day for their Leeds pre-wedding photography session. By ‘Yorkshire’ I obviously mean grey and drizzly which I’m sure had novelty value for them…
