A windy walk around the Cow & Calf rocks at Ilkley Moor is an excellent wedding hangover cure. That and a pint at the Cow & Calf pub over the road. All the greenery made an interesting change from my usual urban-industrial pre-wedding locations, always good to mix things up!Sonia & Sean were great company, really looking forward to shooting their wedding at the recently renovated Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey.
So, turns out Glossop is more than just the road from Buxton to Leeds! It’s actually really bloody lovely, especially in the sunshine. Stacey & Daniel were great fun to spend the afternoon with, met them at theirs and walked straight to the pub, down a seriously impressive hill. God knows how they get back up…
Spent a great weekend in London, got to hang out with a load of photographer friends, saw the Radical Eye exhibition at Tate Modern, and met up with Leigh and Emmerson ahead of their wedding, for a wander round the south bank and a beer or three.
Second trip to Derby in a week to meet up with Bex and Pete (the first was to visit Format, a fantastic bi-annual photography festival), had a great time hanging out with them both, and found a gorgeous little Sam Smith’s pub just around the corner from their wedding venue which was good to know!
