‘iya, I’m Tim. Proud northerner & alternative Yorkshire wedding photographer.

Alternative as in I like to take pictures of things that are interesting and not like the stock photo you’d find in a frame you bought from the shops. I like photos, and I like people, so taking photos of people seemed a logical thing to do with my days – fortunately, people seem to like what I do, so that worked out well.

I was honoured to be named one of Rangefinder magazine’s top 30 wedding photographers in the world last year, so if you’re looking for a wedding photographer (and I assume that is why you are here, if not, question your life choices) then please head here, and my people can talk to your people*.

*I don’t have people

On occasion, I’ve been known to

gatecrash the dancefloor

lie on the floor to get the shot

wear a flat cap

I also have my own space.

It’s a photography studio in Leeds, called Light Space.

It’s full of worryingly creative people doing awesome things.

Though I’m Leeds-based, I’ll travel wherever interesting people want me to go – I’ve photographed from Bedale to Brooklyn, and everywhere in between (metaphorically – I’ve not shot in the middle of the Atlantic yet, but never say never, I’d be well up for a manatee wedding).

Named one of the Top 30 Wedding Photographers in the world by Rangefinder Magazine

(which was nice)

So that’s me.

Signing off for now. Thanks for reading all the way down to the bottom. I appreciate you.
